Are you an energetic team player that strives for excellence? APOGEE is seeking experienced Servers/Bartenders to join our team to provide the highest quality service to our members and guests. Maintaining the dining ambiance with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude.
You will be responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders; ensuring correct and prompt delivery of orders; clearing tables. Recording all purchases through the POS System or on chits.
The Bartender provides exceptional service to members and guests by crafting and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting bar area, and ensuring an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
Working closely with and coordinating with other team members to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction.
Server Specific Job Responsibilities:
· Sets up and breaks down Dining Areas for appropriate meal times.
· Sets up side stations, restocks and performs assigned side work.
· Comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily specials and beverages, is required.
· Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival and seating; familiarize oneself with Member names.
· Distribute menus, answer questions and make menu suggestions.
· Take members/guests food and beverage orders. Deliver orders.
· Ring orders through the POS System; communicate any special requests and dietary needs to the Chef.
· Ability to carry large food trays and small cocktail trays for beverages.
· Maintaining food and beverage service standards; serving food from the left side with the left hand.
· Check back with members/guests to ensure satisfaction.
· Clear dishes and reset tables.
· Keep tables, dining room and service stations clean and tidy.
· Perform other tasks as assigned.
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, members, and guests.
Bartender Specific Job Responsibilities:
· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests according to established recipes and standards
· Greet guests, take orders and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items
· Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar, including organizing glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Monitor and manage inventory, including restocking and requisitioning supplies as needed
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly and accurately
- Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Assist with setting up and breaking down bar area for events and functions
Job Skill/Requirements:
· At least 1 year of experience as a Server/Bartender in a high-end restaurant or club environment.
· Knowledge of wine, liquor and cocktails.
· Moderate lifting required; Ability to stand/ambulate for long periods.
· Computer skills and POS knowledge.
· Clear communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure.
· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
· Attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions without close, daily direction.
· Ability to communicate courteously and professionally.
· Must be able to work holidays, evenings, weekends and be flexible with changes as requested.
· Must be an energetic team player.
