Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Systems Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD .

What you will be doing :
- Collaborating with information engineers to establish system information requirements for NC3 enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
- Designing NC3 architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action.
- Incorporating reference models and profiles of standards into specifications for Information Management solutions.
- Collaborating with Configuration Management team to ensure requirements are incorporated into process workflows, coordinating with the NC3 community, and presenting findings / recommendations to the System Engineering and Architecture Board.
- Supporting the change process, reviewing Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Operational Certification Packages (OCP), and other associated artifacts so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
- Providing advice to the Government on continuous improvement recommendations to the SE&I Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluating the merits of new / enhanced NC3 capabilities.
What you will need :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field with 5 years’ relevant experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises, OR
