Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Functional Analyst supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).
The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:
Enterprise Sustainment & EvolutionEnterprise Performance & CapabilitiesEnterprise Mission Management
This is a full-time position at Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- Working on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis to provide solutions.
- Performing functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Providing technical support for integration tasks, including review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards.
- Coordinate with the Configuration Management Community and the SE&I Division to integrate configuration information sources in support of the execution of the digital engineering data strategy.
- Advise the Government on continuous improvement recommendations to the SE&I Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluating the merits of new NC3 capabilities.
- Assessing new technologies and innovations to develop technical recommendations that ensure the integrity and continuity of operations supporting evolving NC3/National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) requirements.

Additional Experience:
- NC3 experience
- Configuration Management / Configuration Change experience
- Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
