Apogee is actively seeking a GEOINT Systems Engineer to join the team!
As the GEOINT Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert, you will act as a liaison to the Government providing engineering support in the development, demonstration, and transition of advanced ISR technologies into Air Force systems with a mission to deliver new capabilities to the warfighter.
This is a full-time position located in Dayton, OH at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (AFB).
Responsibilities
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have aTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain SAP access
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 16 years of relevant experience, 5 of which must be DoD
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Education: Master's Degree
Years of Experience: 14 years of relevant experience, 5 of which must be DoD
Additional Experience
Location: Wright Paterson, AFB located in Dayton, Ohio
Onsite: Job duties will be performed onsite
Travel: OCONUS travel up to 20% may be required
Pay Range
USD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to the Special Projects Branch in the development, demonstration, and transition of advanced ISR technologies into Air Force systems.
- Apply knowledge and experience in work related to DoD Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, logistics, and systems acquisition programs.
- Provide technical expertise on novel radar phenomenology test/development for space-based systems, long-range ground based atmospheric radar systems, and wideband data link and sensor development in support of the DoD ISR platforms.
- Apply knowledge and skills in civil engineer technical support as a draftsman/surveyor, experimental research and test, instruction in mathematical sciences, logistical support of weapons platforms, metrics development and reporting, staff support positions, and program management.
- Provide technical expertise on novel radar phenomenology test/development for space-based systems, long-range ground based atmospheric radar systems, and wideband data link and sensor development in support of the DoD ISR platforms.

Additional Experience
- Knowledge of GEOINT modalities such as Radar, Radio Frequency (RF), Electro-Optical, Hyperspectral, LIDAR - highly preferred
- Experience with integrated test teams
- Background in planning, organizing, and coordinating various types of programs
- Experience with DoD and Air Force system-of-systems acquisition engineering processes
