Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a System Administrator with a minimum of 4 years supporting integration of USCG/DOD communication and navigation systems United States Coast Guard Architecture and Standards Branch, Spectrum Management Office.
This is a remote opportunity with approximately 25% of travel supporting US Coast Guard, Chesapeake, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide and supports installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various
- Development or modify tactical radio code plugs to meet interoperability standards.
- Provide organizational, intermediate, and depot level troubleshooting and support of fielded systems.
- Provide training to Government personnel and junior technicians.
- Provide technical support in the form of read system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals.
- Conduct performance measurement activities and reports findings to Government representatives.
- Ability to travel and work independently.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to retain a Secret level security clearance Education: High school diplomaYears of Experience: 4 years supporting integration of USCG/DOD communication and navigation systemsAdditional Experience:
Preferred Qualifications:Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Network Engineering or certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in System Administration
