What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at Apogee Integration?
Security Clearance : Active TS / SCI with Polygraph required
Position
Apogee's ideal Software Developer will support the data engineering pipeline development for data science applications. The Developer will also assist with developing data science analysis environments combining data from multiple sources to enable important national security related programs.
Required
Bachelor's Degree. STEM degree strongly preferred
Interest or expertise in "big data" methods desired
Experience with Python, Java, and other languages
JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, JSON
Desired
SQL and relational database experience
Apache NiFi, Postgres, Apache Spark and Amazon AWS experience
Understanding of any data analytics, data science or statistical analysis subjects
Other development and analytical skills, such as web software development, Tableau or R
Positions in McLean, Chantilly, Springfield, and Reston / Herndon and at multiple levels
