Apogee Physicians is the largest, entirely physician owned and led Hospitalist group in the nation. We are looking to add a Physician Relations Coordinator to our team. This role is full-time and based in our Coeur d’Alene, ID office. The Physician Relations Coordinator will support the Physician Relations team in recruiting top Hospitalist physician and Advanced Practice Provider candidates for new and existing markets within Apogee Physicians. The focus is on hiring the best physicians and Advanced Practice Providers for the company in an efficient, timely manner.
Summary of Duties:
- Provide support to Physician Relations department
- Work closely with Physician Relations Specialists to fully ascertain staffing needs and candidate qualifications
- Prospect candidates utilizing a variety of recruitment methods including networking, cold calling, professional associations, database sources, referral programs, social media and online search tools to source and recruit
- Facilitate approval of expense reports for candidate travel and relocation purposes
- Input and update data in Apogee databases with high accuracy
- Maintain a database and network of qualified resources for recruiting pipelines
- Conduct follow up with newly hired physicians and Advanced Practice Providers at regular intervals to provide support
- Perform ongoing research to ensure accurate and current information on national community resources and the services provided by medical centers, and update relevant databases or platforms accordingly
- Manage the preparation and mailing of personalized gifts and cards to celebrate special occasions
- Perform related work and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple, revolving projects in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality; knows and follows HIPPA guidelines
- Be highly organized and able to prioritize, with a great attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- A solid work ethic and self-motivation
- Capacity to work under pressure to resolve unexpected and unanticipated problems
- Strong proficiency in technology skills, including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) internet, email, etc.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
