Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery to fabricate, assemble, and press components with precision. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Assemble parts and products using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred but willing to train the right person.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations is essential.
• Experience using calipers, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Pay based off of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
