What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fullstack Developer position at Apolis?
- Job Title: Fullstack Developer
- Location: New York City, NY - Hybrid (3 days onsite - T/W/TH)
- Tax Term (W2, C2C): W2
- Job Type (Permanent/Contract) : Contract
- Duration: 6+ months
Must Have Requirements: Java Spring & Python full stack AWS - Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EC2 GraphQL React (TypeScript)
- Must be currently living in the State of New York, within commutable distance of New York City, and okay with the hybrid onsite.
- Backend: Microservices will be built on spring boot, using python to develop APIs and lamdas, etc.
- Front End: Java and React -building new rest APIs in Java and React
- Middleware will be API- Python and Java.
- GraphQL- utilized to query different data sources- if there are a lot of different sources of data you are feeding off of you can put GraphQL on top to query these data sources. Kind of like an aggregator of data. Can use GraphQL to mix and match data from different sources (ie. API, database, streaming, data lakes, etc.) to make it more consumable and ingestible.
- AWS- lamdas and serverless experience is also required
- Has all of the experience above in the must have requirements
- Previous CapitalOne experience
- AWS Fargate, SQS, SNS (THIS IS HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Dynamo Database
- Excellent communication skills
