Duration: 6 Months
Helping support UAT testing efforts, coordinate the testers, getting them into the system, gather their feedback from testing, data mapping from one system to another and comfortable putting together reporting mockups, understanding data quality.
Position Summary:
Project Overview: The Finance Data Query Tool (DEQ Replacement) project aims to replace the existing tools and technology supporting Finance users at our client who require self-service ad-hoc data capabilities for Oracle EBS. Currently, approximately 200 Finance users rely on the Teradata Decision Expert Query (DEQ) for operational reporting during period, quarter, and year-end closing activities. As Teradata is a legacy technology, it will be replaced by the Databricks Data Lake, the company s strategic data warehousing platform. This re-tooling effort is part of the broader Teradata Decommission program, which seeks to reduce IT operational expenses while enhancing and modernizing data and analytics capabilities. The project is scheduled to go live in FY26 Q1.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate UAT testing efforts, including onboarding testers into systems and gathering feedback.
- Support data mapping efforts between legacy and target systems.
- Create and refine reporting mockups to guide users on system outputs.
- Assist in defining finance requirements on Teradata with a future goal of SAP integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and successful testing execution.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Functional/Finance BA.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS or SAP finance systems; Oracle EPS experience is highly desirable.
- Proven track record with finance projects and business processes.
- Experience in enterprise-level environments (Fortune 500 companies).
- Strong understanding of UAT testing coordination and feedback collection.
Must Have:
- Have knowledge of SAP or Oracle finance systems
- Have previous experience with Finance projects/systems
- 5-7 years Finance/Functional BA
- Enterprise level background - Fortune 500 companies
- Oracle EBS experience & SAP, moving towards SAP so wants them to be well-versed there too ideally
