POSITION TITLE : QA Engineer OFFICE LOCATION : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 6 months POSITION SUMMARY : The QA Engineer works in an Agile environment with developers and a BA to ensure that we are delivering high-quality software that meets the requirements specified by our Product Owner and our user community. PROJECT INFORMATION : This position will be working on our highly visible Order-to-Cash Project (OTC) PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Test Planning : Develop comprehensive test plans based on project specifications and requirements.
- Test Case Design : Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scripts.
- Test Execution : Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
- Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Regression Testing : Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- End-to-End Testing : Perform End-to-end testing across many systems in our environment including SaaS systems, Websites and Databases. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues effectively.
- Experience writing and modifying SQL queries.
- Experience using Postman and SoapUI to test API functionality.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate testing status and results.
- High attention to detail to identify and document defects accurately.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and technologies, including test management systems, version control, PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience testing Salesforce
- Experience with Automation technologies like Cucumber and Selenium
