Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for intakes and completing inquiry forms
- Reviews packets for criteria and updates intake logs
- Collects data for QAPI on intakes
- Communicates with physicians and Director of Nursing about possible admissions
- Initiates demographics on face sheets, episodes of care and insurance information for new admits and puts new patient charts together
- Completes insurance verifications as patients accepted by physician
Skills Needed:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Should be able to work with minimal supervision
- Organized and self-disciplined
- Thorough documentation and communication skills
Education/Experience/License required:
- At least two three years of admissions for psychiatric patients experience preferred
