Starting Date: July 1, 2025
Reports to: Director of Adult Education
Salary Range: based on appropriate salary schedule, commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Qualifications:
- possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
- current and active Ohio Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license with no restrictions or board actions and meets Ohio Board of Nursing requirements appropriate for the position per OAC 4723-5-11
- minimum of 2 years of full-time RN experience in an acute care setting * ability to obtain an adult education permit in Health Occupations (070000) and Office Operations (140000)
- ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks
- meets all mandated health requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- recent teaching experience in a nursing program
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Responsibilities:
- assist program manager in development and implementation of course of study (syllabus must follow Ohio Board of Nursing requirements)
- ability to articulate clear learning goals/objectives appropriate for students
- use course of study to develop and deliver sequenced lessons plans that are submitted upon request
- assist program manager with business relationships specific to clinical and/or precepting objectives
- monitor student progress effectively by selecting appropriate evaluation strategies
- exhibit enthusiasm and a positive attitude in the teaching/learning process
