Apollo Health and Rehab Center is seeking an Admissions Director. The Admissions Director's primary responsibility is execution of the pre-admission referral process and Census Development by establishing and maintaining community relationships with potential customers, families, hospital case managers, physicians and other key stake holders, ensuring consistent achievement of strategic goals and market share growth.
Apollo Health and Rehab is a 99 bed community specializing in post-acute, rehab, and long-term care. Admissions Director Requirements :
- Experience in long term care admissions preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years college education in the field of Health Care Administration, Business Management, and / or Marketing or Public Relations preferred, or Equivalent professional experience
- Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced, healthcare environment and interface with a variety of healthcare professionals.
- Multi-task oriented excellent organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a manner that maximizes outcomes and adheres to standard process
- Dedicated, respectful, caring and compassionate in dealing with a geriatric population and families in stressful situations.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately execute established pre-admissions financial and clinical decision process, policies & procedures and complete monthly key indicator reports.
- Effective time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, outcome-driven individual.
- Strong customer service approach and sales-oriented personality.
- Proficiency of computer programs utilization including but not limited to Microsoft office and other industry specific software platforms
Team player with ability to implement and execute marketing initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision
