What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive - SLED Sales position at Apollo Information Systems?
Job Summary:
Reporting to the President and Chief Customer Officer, the Account Executive - SLED Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing account strategies, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver customized cybersecurity solutions that meet the unique needs of our public sector clients.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Lead the overall strategy for managing and growing the company’s SLED sales including Strategy, Revenue and profitability targets, Go to market, Contracts
• Identification of clients and sales opportunities with the greatest revenue and profit potential, ease of contracting and shortest time to revenue.
• Engage with Apollo SLED clients and prospects to discover their priorities, plans, projects, and opportunities to align Apollo products and services
• Collaborate with Apollo leadership, Business Units, Product Management and Marketing to tailor solutions to address SLED market needs and requirements
• Achieve or exceed sales targets by developing and implementing strategies to grow revenue within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, leveraging the full portfolio of the company's cybersecurity products and services.
• Negotiate and close complex, high-value contracts with strategic clients.
• Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by understanding and addressing client needs and challenges.
• Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Threat Intel, Service Delivery and customer support, to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
• Provide feedback to product teams on client needs and market trends to drive product innovation.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop account-based marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Identify, develop and manage contracting vehicles essential to enable Apollo’s
SLED business growth nationally. Enlist the support of Apollo leadership,
operations and finance as required to capture and administer.
Required Skills:
• 10 years of public sector sales experience with successful track record
• Extensive experience with and understanding of Cyber Security Sales with public sector clients
• Current understanding and expertise of public sector sales, contracting and
procurement processes
• Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts, particularly at the C-suite level.
• Demonstrated leadership and business innovation abilities Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts, particularly at the C-suite level.
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
