The ISG Middle Office Associate will play a critical role in trade support, account onboarding, portfolio rebalancing, and client service across Apollo Insurance Solutions Group’s (“ISG”) investment portfolios. This role will also be responsible for collateral management, alternative investment support, investment funding and wire processing, and break resolution. Additionally, the Associate will provide support for ISG’s SOC-1 and SOX audit requests and oversee outsourced activities, ensuring seamless execution and data integrity within ISG’s systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor and resolve trade issues, inquiries from clients, front office, brokers, and custodians to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
Oversee trade processing across various asset classes, including physical settlements, repurchase agreements, bank loans, CLOs, and primary market deals.
Manage and oversee collateral processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely execution of margin calls, substitutions, and reporting.
Process and review investment funding transactions, ensuring compliance with ISG’s internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and reconcile all wire/funding activity, collaborating with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy.
Perform and enforce ISG’s SOC-1 and SOX control procedures, maintaining compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
Collaborate with senior management to drive continuous improvements in workflows, automation, and operational efficiencies.
Assist the Investment Accounting team with all position and transaction reconciliation discrepancies relating to functions and processes supported by the Middle Office team.
Assist with new client, asset, and portfolio onboarding, ensuring seamless integration within ISG’s operational framework.
Lead and participate in key projects aimed at enhancing middle-office capabilities, controls, and scalability.
Support technology and business initiatives, including system enhancements, workflow automation, and data integrity projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree from accredited University/College; Preferred Finance/Accounting/Economics/Info Systems Major
5 years of experience in the investment management/asset management industry; Internships included
Detail-oriented, well-organized and ability to demonstrate sound judgement
Prior Middle Office or Back Office operations experience is a plus
Communicates professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues to minimize risk
Familiarity with physical settlements, repurchase agreements, bank loans, CLO’s, and primary market deal settlements required
Strong technology skills such as: Bloomberg, Excel, VBA, SQL, CTM, DTCC Alert, and SWIFT
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and drive resolution on complex issues.
Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
