Role : Technical Lead (.Net / C# with front-end)
Location : Atlanta, GA / Remote
Duration : Long Term
Interview Process : 2 step IV process
Note :
Prefers 2 days / week in Atlanta - but can consider remote candidates as well.
Responsibilities :
Hands-on Development(50%) : Actively participate in coding, debugging, and code reviews while setting high-quality coding standards and best practices.
Contributes to the design decisions for their team's Features. Lead discussions with the team about design and the technical decomposition of the work.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Technology Leader on applications feature implementation
Making technical decisions on complex issues, considering trade-offs and potential
impacts. Removes technical blockers
Pair with new developers to get them up to speed, Providing guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their technical skills and understanding of Agile development practices.
Take ownership of technical implementation tasks and their outcomes. Tracking team performance metrics related to technical quality and delivery
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure product feature is built successfully.
Communicating technical details and status to stakeholders, including product owners, Scrum Masters
Partners with Scrum Masters so that the team effectively utilizes Agile methodologies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Partner with DevOps engineer to implement CI / CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure robust monitoring and logging.
Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance feature delivery and business processes.
Continuous Improvement : Identifying areas for technical improvement and proposing solutions to enhance the development process.
Contribute to "Generic" Implementation Playbooks (Knowledge Base for Future Implementations)
Follow Corpay release process and maintain integrity of the changes.
Liaison with Global Configuration and Technical Ops team to get infrastructure and env. Related changes needed for a product rollout.
Identify customer dependencies for tasks such as Connectivity, Configurations, data feeds etc. And work with customers to get those implemented. Report on Blockers / Showstoppers and bugs that could impact the product feature timeline.
Bring visibility into defects, prioritize with product and engineering team and provide effort estimates.
Demand scope sign -off and "custom" requirements completion in JIRA prior to beginning the implementation project.
Keeps track of milestones to achieve the desired end goal.
Technical knowledge of Databases and web applications and architectures. Takes interest in enhancing the application and its workings.
Technology Experience - Azure, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Stored Procs, APIs, Web Application, mobile application.
Airlines industry experience - nice to have.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 8 years of hands on application development experience using C# and .NetFramework
Experience with building and testing RESTful APIs
Knowledgeable of relational databases and experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Aptitude for problem solving at an in-depth level
Can understand work-processes and data integration issues
Ability to work within a team environment or autonomously as required
Experience working in applications requiring strict security & PCI controls
Strong communication skills (English as dominate language preferred)
Preferred Qualifications :
C# and .Net Framework
Azure or AWS cloud product implementations
Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL
Knowledge of Git
RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience working with MuleSoft is a bonus
