The Strategic Finance team is seeking an Associate/Associate Director responsible for reporting and analyzing Apollo’s Assets Under Management (“AUM”) globally. This includes internal and external reporting of actuals, forecast, budget, long-term planning and other ad hoc analyses for Senior Management and Apollo’s businesses across the platform. The position will partner with other members of the Strategic Finance team, as well the other teams including Client & Product Solutions, Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Business Finance, Controllers, Valuations, and Treasury.
Primary Responsibilities
Internal and external reporting of AUM actuals, forecast, budget and long-term planning
Prepare monthly capital raise/redemptions flash and forecast analysis vs. actuals and budget
Own the quarterly review of AUM actuals and reporting for all funds globally across the platform; coordinate with fund controllers to ensure the accuracy of submitted AUM data
Prepare and review all quarterly AUM actuals deliverables for the firm, including the AUM Meeting
Assist with the capital raise forecasting process for actuals vs. forecast/CPS expectations
Develop AUM rollforwards for Total and FG AUM with focus on inflows and outflows for each period
Coordinate with Client & Product Solutions, Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Business Finance, Controllers, Valuations, and Treasury for key deliverables as needed
Enhance current processes to track 3rd party insurance, regions, private credit and new reporting views
Maintain Fund Firm Handoff data and ensure new funds are set up correctly for consumption/reporting
Utilize OneStream to report AUM and financial results, as well as prepare ad hoc deliverables
Prepare and review earnings release, 10Q/K and other external materials for AUM disclosures
Produce high quality, timely and insightful deliverables to assist in strategic decisions
Improve efficiency of BAU processes; assist with design and implementation of tech projects
Own and maintain AUM policy; ensure proper documentation of our actuals processes for SOX
Qualifications & Experience
5-10 years of professional work experience, ideally in Asset Management (prior experience in forecasting, modeling, or financial analysis/reporting preferred)
Highly analytical, organized, strong work ethic, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Operates with high energy, positive attitude and works well collaborating with key stakeholders
Excellent communication and PowerPoint presentation skills
Strong background and experience in excel with large datasets or implementation of data systems
Experience with OneStream or other corporate performance management system a plus (e.g. Essbase/Hyperion)

Pay Range
$110,000 – $130,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
