Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Associate on Apollo’s Financial Regulation team. As an Associate within Financial Regulation, you will assist in conducting strategic analysis of global financial regulation and policy, including at the intersection of insurance and asset management, and analyzing impacts from strategic, quantitative and technical perspectives. You will also assist in driving firm-wide strategic financial and technical analyses regarding Apollo’s businesses. Your responsibilities will include supporting complex, bespoke analysis in response to global policy and regulatory matters, and creation of content and analysis for internal and external communication.
Primary Responsibilities
Support analysis of global financial regulations and policy positions, including potential impacts on Apollo and the financial industry as a whole.
Monitor developments in credit markets, asset management, and life insurance industry, including changes in financial regulation, policies, and standards.
Analyze and assess the potential risks, challenges, and opportunities arising from regulatory changes, considering financial, technical and strategic perspectives.
Assist in preparation of comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting potential opportunities, risks and advocacy.
Coordinate multi-functional teams of internal and external stakeholders to respond to regulatory consultations, calls for evidence, and other information requests, ensuring effective communication and organization.
Work together with enterprise-wide businesses at Apollo and cross-functional teams, including executives, risk management and business units, to understand the implications of regulatory changes and develop proactive strategies
Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as third-party clients, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and consultants, to gather insights and perspectives on global financial regulations.
Drive preparations for key meetings and industry conferences attended by senior executives
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree. Academic focus in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred. MBA, CFA, FRM or similar other advanced degree or financial certification preferred.
Highly motivated with 3-6 years’ experience in strategic analysis of global financial environment, with a background consisting of experience in banking, management consulting, securities, insurance and/or other relevant financial environments
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
Some proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial and regulatory concepts into actionable insights and persuasive written materials.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Pay Range
115,000 - 135,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
