- The Assistant FSO will perform administrative, facility, and conference center functions.
- Responsible for all facility issues, including security, cleaning, lease requirements, parking, and maintenance.
- Oversee the office Conference Center, which includes eight conference rooms capable of serving 240 simultaneous attendees with state-of-the-art teleconferencing and presentation systems.
- Provide back-up Information Technology Support, including establishing unclassified and classified Video Tele-conference connections.
- Maintain network security and reconfigure network connections as needed.
- Support IT needs for meetings in the conference center.
- Responsible for the security administration of the facility and internal safeguards to protect sensitive and classified information.
- Ensure employees and visitors comply with all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and internal security procedures.
- The Assistant FSO will maintain security records and instructions required by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), who monitors contractor compliance for the government.
- Process requests for Department of Defense (DoD) security clearances and coordinate with NAVSEA security officers to process visit requests for facility access to government contractor sites.
- Coordinate with DCSA to ensure facility security programs comply with DoD and company directives.
- Responsible for the receipt, tracking, and delivery of all classified mail sent to Navy customers in the Washington, DC area.
- Oversee all mail room functions.
- Coordinate access to classified networks at the office.
- Perform uploads and downloads of material for NAVSEA and other contracted customers.
- The Assistant FSO will coordinate administrative support for the Senior Manager, Washington Operations, and Manager, Navy Programs.
