Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients within the water treatment industry. You will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to resolve complex technical issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our field sales and service team.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Project professional image of the Company through positive attitude and punctual and reliable attendance.
- Adhere to all Company policies, including safety and quality policies and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Keep vehicle in good operating condition and keep up with recommended maintenance as needed.
- Follow all legal safety regulations, as well as procedures set forth by both Company and customers
- Participate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sites
- Work onsite at customer locations to provide routine, day-to-day service to determine water treatment program is operating within optimal ranges and document findings in detailed reports
- Local travel is expected and ongoing; travel approximately 5% outside assigned region
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations to customers
- Manage and place orders, track inventory & usage of product at each site, and serve as the general face of Apex to assigned customer base
- Send service reports to Account Manager for each site visited
- Send monthly rollup reports to Account Manager highlighting key points for each site
- Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a variety of environments
- Ability to provide technical services or support within the water treatment industry
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half-or full-face respirator
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field
- Knowledge of water treatment systems, including filtration, disinfection, and chemical dosing
- Familiarity with water treatment industry regulations and standards
- Advanced certifications or training in water treatment technologies
