Clerical assistance coverage on 3rdshift managing the front desk of the main patient care building.

Job Description:
Clerical assistance coverage on 3rdshift managing the front desk of the main patient care building.
Responsibilities:
- Answering the main hospital phone
- Transferring calls
- Monitoring the fire panel systems and using the radio to contact Security if a trouble alarm alerts
- Calling and relaying information to 911 if a code is called
- Using the PA system for hospital codes if requested
- Assisting with fleet key check out
- Assisting with staff meal ticket purchases
- Other clerical tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Prior experience as a hospital switchboard operator or clinic unit clerk
- Knowledge and experience in a role utilizing HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to react calmly and quickly in the case of a medical or security emergency.
- CPR Certification (nice to have)
