The Legal Analyst will provide legal and corporate governance support for publicly traded and non-traded vehicles managed or sponsored by Apollo.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interface with board members of a public company; develop relationships and serve as trusted point of contact
- Organize and prepare agendas/materials for board and committee meetings
- Attend board meetings and draft resolutions/minutes; attend other committee meetings and assist in governance matters
- Assist in preparation of SEC filings under the Securities Exchange Act, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Section 16 filings, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and review of D&O questionnaires
- Coordinate NASDAQ filings and communication
- Coordinate annual shareholder meeting and proxy voting process
- Coordinate responses to diligence requests in connection with offerings
- Maintain calendar of events and filings
- Assist with entity formation and life cycle management
- Prepare and maintain corporate records
- Assist in administering Sarbanes Oxley controls and compliance
- Assist in insurance program management
- Work closely with investment teams and members of the Global Wealth platform to facilitate transactions.
- Perform general legal research
Qualifications & Experience
- 1 year of experience supporting corporate legal & governance matters
- Superior collaboration/interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships/credibility with relevant stakeholders
- Ability to anticipate and accommodate the ongoing needs of board members and provide “high touch” client service
- Highly organized and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines
- Possesses professional integrity; displays discretion, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Team Player with the ability to work independently
- Well-developed sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach to projects/tasks
- Excels in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
Pay Range
85,000 - 100,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
