Atrium Health Floyd is establishing a new facility in Trion, Georgia.
This state-of-the-art Atrium Health FSED will provide round-the-clock emergency care to residents of Summerville, Trion, Lyerly, Menlo and surrounding communities in North Georgia.
The facility features six treatment rooms, alongside on-site laboratory and imaging services, including x-ray and computed tomography (CT) scanner capabilities.
Key Statistics:
- Anticipated patient volume: 8,000 - 12,000
- Emergency department operations starting October 2023
- 9 Patient Care Areas: 6 Rooms, 3 Upright Beds
- Availability of CT and Xray Services
- Physician Daily Coverage: 24 Hour shifts 7a -7p
- APC Daily Coverage: 12 Hour shifts 7p - 7a
- Transfers to Atrium Health Floyd for further care
