What are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing R&D team. In this role, you will take ownership of our CI/CD pipelines, production environments, developer experience, and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations, optimize infrastructure, and drive best practices across the board.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with developers to optimize their pipelines and taking ownership of the development experience
- Monitoring the development & production environments and ensuring they are always up & running correctly
- Applying best practices across the pipelines, environments & the developer experience
- Ownership on making sure developers are as productive as they can be
- Managing cloud environments from multiple clouds
- Upgrading and implementing modern technologies
Requirements:
- GitHub Actions (2yrs )
- Cloud Experience - AWS, GCP (advantage), Azure (advantage) (4yrs )
- Strong familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
- Kubernetes (production, not just familiarity) (4rs )
- Strong Linux, bash & Python familiarity (4yrs )
- Experience in production monitoring using one or more of the following tools:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Jaeger (advantage)
- SaaS monitoring platforms (Datadog, Logz.io, Coralogix, etc - advantage)
- Experience with FinOps in general and cost optimization specifically - advantage
- On-call duty - incidents can occur once in a while (on average once every 2-3 weeks)
- Ability to take on complex tasks and break them down into smaller sub-tasks when necessary
- Start-up mindset & experience required
- Strong security mindset
- Familiarity with vulnerability and code scanning tools and practices
