Deckhand Job Description
Summary:
Under the direction of the Captain, Deckhands ensure every passenger a safe and enjoyable Lake Superior cruising experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading of passengers.
- Demonstrate proper handling of lines during docking operations.
- Before and during each trip ensure the boat is clean, well stocked, safe and prepared.
- Maintains a general knowledge of the Apostle Islands.
- Maintains a general knowledge of other services and activities in the area.
Other duties:
- Sell concessions
- Sweep upper and lower deck
- Fill water tank
- Garbage
- Windows
- Clean restrooms
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
