We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time 2nd shift nurse to join our team at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
Job Overview:
The registered nurse will be responsible for the administration of nursing measures, supervision, evaluation, and planning of care with effective communication with residents, family, and healthcare team members to meet total resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in resident assessment and implementation of appropriate interventions.
- Plan care to attain and/or maintain highest possible level of health, independence, and mobility of the resident.
- Deliver resident medications timely and accurately.
- Communicate with physician and other healthcare providers for overall resident health care.
- Encourage open communication with residents and families.
- Assist with orientation of new personnel.
- Record progress notes regularly for continuity of care and up-to-date information for physicians, consultants, and healthcare providers.
- Provide resident and family education to enhance cooperation and undertaking of the care plan.
- Participate in continuing education to improve nursing skills and stay current with nursing developments.
Bonus Opportunities:
New full-time nurses at Restmor will receive sign-on bonuses upon meeting specific employment milestones: $1,000 at 3 months, $1,000 at 6 months, and $1,000 at 12 months of employment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Must hold an active Illinois Nursing License as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Shifts typically include 2:45pm or 3:00pm until 11:30pm, three weekdays, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation.
