Scope of Position: The primary purpose of the Dietary Aide is to assists with all aspects of service. Arrange tables and chairs and set silverware on tables. Clears and cleans tables for next meal. Clears excess clutter from tables. They adhere to health and safety regulations. Will addresses any additional requests from residents. He/She resolves any resident problems promptly. Greets residents and assists in seating them. Obtain meal orders from residents. Maintains the dining area, making sure it is clean and safe. Follow proper sanitation standards. He/She will notify Director about any resident complaints about food. Help with plating of meal and assists in washing and storing dishes.

- Assisting in receiving and storing food and supplies.
- Participate in in-service training sessions.
- Maintains regular attendance.
- Exhibits punctuality.
- Exhibits enthusiasm.
- Performs other duties assigned by Director.
- Complete Corporate Compliance training annually as required.
Qualifications:
- Compassion for the elderly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- State Food Service Sanitation Certificate.
- This position will show a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
- The Culinary Assistant will be able and willing to work flexible hours, such as during an emergency situation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Satisfactory clearance of criminal history background check.
