We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and logic controllers.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Lead small teams in maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as required to maintain aesthetics and functionality of facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter, logic controllers, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to quality work.
