What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Coordinator position at Appalachian Community Health Center?
Appalachian Community Health Center is looking to fill a full-time Service Coordinator at our main office location. This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human services field, though non-traditional bachelor degrees may be considered with a history or classes appropriate within the field. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain vital experience in the behavioral health field. You will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from other staff at various levels to ensure the Center's clients' needs are being met with consistency and compassion. On-the-job training for the position as well as other required training are provided by the Center.
A Service Coordinator provides services to existing clients such as linking, referrals, advocacy, and participating in the treatment plan process to consumers of all ages with mental and behavioral health needs. This position has a set schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm with an hour lunch break. This would be an excellent position for someone just starting in his/her career.
