Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, focusing on fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleaning. This role requires a hands-on approach to restore properties to their pre-loss condition while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Assess and evaluate damage from fire, water, mold, etc. in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform restoration tasks including cleaning, drying, and repairing affected areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for restoration processes.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document the restoration process and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in fire restoration techniques and water damage restoration practices.
- Knowledge of mold remediation processes and procedures is a plus.
- Experience in carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation.
- Strong ability to clean and restore various materials and surfaces effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the restoration industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring installation, etc. experience is preferred but not required.
