Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to Ob/Gyn procedures.
- Ensure the proper use of ultrasound equipment and maintain its functionality through regular checks and maintenance.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary views are captured for diagnostic purposes.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including medical history, imaging results, and any relevant notes.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques and medical imaging practices.
