Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman and/or Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a construction site environment. The candidate must be able to read blueprints and can communicate with contractors.
Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and ProCore for precise measurements and quality control.
- Collaborate with contractors to assist in project scheduling and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Engage in construction estimating and provide input on material requirements for projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using industry-standard tools and equipment related to sheet metal work.
- Strong skills in project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating are highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications effectively.
