Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care : Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care for patients in [specialty, e.g., family medicine, pediatrics, etc.].
Examinations : Perform physical exams, review medical history, and order / interpret diagnostic tests.
Medical Records : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Collaboration : Work closely with nursing staff, other physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Patient Education : Advise and educate patients on wellness, prevention, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Prescriptions & Treatments : Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up care.
Continuing Education : Stay current with medical advancements, best practices, and medical regulations through professional development and training.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Education : Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensure : Valid medical license in North Carolina.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Work Schedule :
Flexible part-time hours, minimum 2 days per week.
