Key responsibilities for this position, include:
- Maintain Accurate medical records on all patients
- Follow up on all records requests within the company fax server within a timely manner
- Referring patient inquiries of a clinical nature to the appropriate clinical staff for triage
- Complete clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails and processing patient administration and discharge records
- Follow up on all telephone encounters assigned within a timely manner
- Attach provider approved patient messages to the patient portal
- Send out all records requests made by internal AMCHC providers
- Ability to learn clinical flow of the organization and assist in administrative duties within the clinical setting.

Requirements: Sending and following up on messages between patient’s and providers/clinical staff members via EHR
Proven work experience as a Medical records professional or similar experience
Understanding of Medical Terminology
Proficient in information management with Microsoft Office programs and Electronic Medical Records Systems
Outstanding Communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Relevant trainings and or certification as a Medical Records Clerk preferred but no required

High school or equivalent
