Overview
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to meet overall organization goals, generate business revenues, coordinate effective internal and external communications campaigns, and plan community outreach activities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the marketing and community outreach activities of the hospitals, clinics and service lines within the ARH service area.
Ensures that the organization’s services and products are marketed according to ARH objectives to achieve maximum utilization of the corporation’s healthcare services.
Conducts feasibility studies and marketing research.
Develops and adjusts marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
Develop and maintain budgets and report any planned or incidental deviation from the budget.
Promotes ARH’s services to the public and business community.
Responsible for providing advice and guidance to various units of the corporation regarding markets and marketing.
Develop monitoring systems to measure the success of marketing plans.
Responsible for planning, directing, and implementing strategies and services related to maintaining and improving positive community relations.
Works with the corporate communications department to facilitate media calls and coordinate media interviews.
Works with public relations and advertisement agencies, consultants, and freelancers as appropriate in the development and implementation of campaigns and products.
Develops and maintains content of ARH Internet and social media sites.
Travel Required With Occasional Nights And Weekend Responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in marketing or communications required 5-7 years of marketing or communications experience preferred. . Minimum of 3 years in healthcare marketing preferred.
Position requires a high level of flexibility, autonomy, accountability and individual initiative.
Must possess proven excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Position Physical Requirements
Must possess physical ability to endure prolonged sitting; moderate walking; lifting and carrying. May require up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently; and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
