Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, people-focused Employee Experience and Culture Coordinator to help foster a vibrant, inclusive, and high-engagement work environment. The Employee Experience and Culture Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing the overall employee experience at UNC Health Appalachian by supporting initiatives that drive engagement, culture-building, and employee well-being. The Employee Experience and Culture Coordinator will work in an ethical manner, practicing compassion and respect for the internet dignity, worth, and unique attributes of each person. This position follows and adheres to UNCH-A policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and standards of behavior. The Employee Experience and Culture Coordinator demonstrates the UNCH-A Mission, Vision, and Values in action and approaches work in a way that reflects action, efficiency, and personal accountability. The Employee Experience and Culture Coordinator demonstrates professional conduct, effective communication, and effective delegation of tasks. Effectively and professionally manages working relationships with coworkers, physicians, and all team members in a way that promotes a healthy work environment. Performs duties under general supervision. Always assists coworkers, patients, families, and visitors regardless of the patient assignment, so long as the assistance is in-line with their scope.
Position Qualifications Minimum Education
Associate's Degree required. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience
One to two years of experience in a related position is desirable, but not required.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage employees at all levels.
