- Position Qualifications
- Experience
- Previous experience as a Nuclear Med Tech preferred.
- Required Registration / License / Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required at the time of hire
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Competent in delivering safe and effective patient care within legal limits of license and certifications and hospital policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the continuum of care provided in the patient care department.
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service to patients, family, staff, and physicians

Position Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic nuclear medicine information.
Minimum Education
Graduate of AMA accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
Clinical radiographic and imaging experience from an AMA accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
ARRT(N) or CNMT registered or registry eligible. Must obtain registry within one year of the program completion if new graduate.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with the public, patients, family, staff, and physician and acts within the chain of command, utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills
Lifts, positions, pushes, pulls, and / or transfers up to and greater than 50 pounds
Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases
