Job Title: Azure Services and Virtualization Architect
Location: San Jose, CA(onsite)
Mode : Contract || Long Term
Summary:-
The Azure Services and Virtualization Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and VMware platforms. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing comprehensive cloud strategies, and ensuring the seamless integration of virtualization technologies.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design And Implementation
Develop and implement cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
Design and manage virtualization environments using VMware platforms.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Technical Leadership:-
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development and operations teams.
Lead architecture and technical discussions to drive cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions.
Oversee the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure and VMware environments.
Collaboration and Communication:-
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:-
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and virtualization.
Optimize existing systems and processes for improved performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:-
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and virtualization.
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and VMware platforms.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), etc.
Skills:-
Strong understanding of Azure services (e.g., Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Azure Policies).
Expertise in VMware virtualization technologies (e.g., vSphere, vCenter).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:-
Experience with automation and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and governance mechanisms.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
