Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess classroom management skills, and be knowledgeable in childhood development. As a Teacher Assistant, you will be responsible for helping to maintain a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule during our hours of operation - Monday-Friday 7:20 am - 5:45 pm. Opportunities are available for full-time and part-time employment.

Duties

Duties:

• Assist with supervising and monitor the safety of children in your care
• Conduct age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
• Collaborate with parents to ensure the best possible care for their children
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the well-being of all children
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Follow all childcare regulations and standards

Requirements

Skills:

• Ability to engage young learners
• Experience working with children in a child care setting (preferred)
• First aid certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with early childhood/preschool programs and activities is a plus
