About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Team Leader to help guide our team in creating a positive shopping experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading by example, assisting customers in finding nutritious foods and natural health solutions, and fostering a supportive, knowledgeable team in a dynamic retail setting.
Responsibilities:
Supervises assigned shifts
Encourages and supports team members
Keeps team on task through communication and collaboration
Organizes and facilitates special projects
First point of contact for floor, customer, or employee issues
Communicates and coordinates duties with partnering Team Leaders and Managers
Updates end caps and sale signs on monthly/biweekly schedule
Manages expirations
Accurately handles nightly drawer reconciliations
Reports to managers on consistent basis with any issues
Assists in training team members
Maintains customer experience in line with core values
Manages food sample rotations
Takes initiative in all things
Qualifications:
Exemplifies all core values
Open availability including evenings and weekends
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong background in retail sales and customer service
Proficiency in inventory management and control
Experience with POS systems and cash register operations
Excellent math and organization skills
Demonstrates servant leadership
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Willing to attend classes, read books, etc for professional growth
Results:
Completes checklist daily
Has consistent drawer accuracy
Aids in raising company average basket through staff encouragement and sales
Follows processes for outstanding customer experience
