Apple Autos is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Used Car Buyer to join our team. As a Used Car Buyer, you will be responsible for evaluation and acquiring used vehicles from the public, for our inventory. If you have a deep understanding of the used car market, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for quality, we encourage you to apply. What You’ll Do
- Research and identify potential sources of used cars, including auctions and private sellers.
- Inspect and appraise vehicles to determine their condition, value, and market potential.
- Deliver purchase offers and terms to customers, while providing a world-class experience.
- Stay up to date on market trends, values, and demand for different makes and models.
- Maintain accurate records of your purchases and sales performance.
- Collaborate with the centralized buying team to ensure our inventory meets levels & mix targets.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all transactions.
- Demonstrate exceptional teamwork with peer group and organization.
What You’ll Bring
- Prefer experience in buying used cars, ideally in a dealership or automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to assess a vehicle’s condition accurately.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for inspections and purchases.
- Understanding of legal and ethical consideration in the used car buying process.
