Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PSR/Crisis Stabilization Provider to provide immediate support and intervention for individuals experiencing mental health crises. This role involves working closely with clients to develop coping skills, stabilize crises, and connect them with necessary resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in crisis intervention, psychosocial rehabilitation, and de-escalation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services for individuals experiencing mental health or emotional distress.
- Implement psychosocial rehabilitation strategies to help clients build coping skills and regain stability.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, such as housing, employment, and healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and interventions.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and organizational guidelines regarding client care and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in crisis intervention, mental health support, or psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond effectively to crises.
- Must pass a background check and meet state requirements for working in behavioral health.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
