Description

The ECAD Librarian will support all projects in development at Apple and will contribute to the evolution of the design process and tools as our organization continues to grow. This role will involve testing and evaluating new tools or tool features. The primary responsibilities of the ECAD Librarian include :

• Developing and maintaining the ECAD library, which involves the creation of 3D models, PCB and logical symbols, and handling ECAD data in Perforce, Team Center, Calypso, and PLM systems.
• Providing ongoing ECAD library support.
• Acquiring a good understanding of and enforcing current ECAD standards and Design for Manufacturing guidelines while contributing to the improvement of the current design process.
• Supporting schematic development by debugging netlist issues.
• Supporting designs for simulation by collaborating with Electrical and Component Engineers.
