Job Title : Service Plumber Technician
Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Plumber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system malfunctions.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using pressure gauges and other tools.
Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine best practices for installations and repairs.
Provide estimates and quotes for plumbing services.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely resolutions.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 experience in plumbing service and repair.
Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight or confined spaces.
Availability for on-call and emergency services as needed.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
Certification in backflow prevention or other specialized areas.
