We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admissions Director to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents, and building strong relationships with referral sources to maintain a consistent flow of admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the admissions process from inquiry to admission
- Work closely with families, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless transition for new residents
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and other community partners
- Conduct tours and provide information to prospective residents and their families
- Ensure all admissions paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure new residents receive the highest level of care
- Monitor and analyze admission trends to help guide facility strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare admissions or a related field, preferably in long-term care
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and admissions processes
