Job Overview

The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children on various subjects, including language, math, science, and social skills through play-based activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their unique learning requirements are met.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings to parents or guardians.
- Ensure the health and safety of all students by adhering to first aid protocols and maintaining a clean classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support children's development both in the classroom and at home.
Requirements:
- Experience in preschool settings or childcare environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with special education strategies for working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized learning environment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Ability to engage effectively with children aged 3 to 5 years old, fostering their love for learning through creative activities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
