Overview
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality.

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement;
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste;
- Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations;
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from conception to completion;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success;
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives;
- Collect and analyze data on production performance;
- Use statistical methods to identify trends and root causes of inefficiencies;
- Prepare reports and present findings to management;
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and safety;
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations;
- Work with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues;
- Train employees on new processes and improvement initiatives;
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement;
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure adherence to best practices;
- Ensure that all improvement initiatives comply with health and safety regulations;
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process changes;
- Maintain documentation of all process changes and improvements;
- Perform other required tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement role, preferably in the food processing industry;
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams;
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with quality control and assurance in a food processing environment;
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
