Description
The AMR Operations Finance leader will be responsible for:
1. Leading, building and managing a high performing team of finance professionals.
2. Providing best in class financial business support and partnership with AMR Sales and Operations Support Leadership (SOS) teams include: Supply Demand Management, Logistics, Reseller Operations, Retail Operations, BPR. Readiness, and Procurement. This will include:
- Supporting, driving and presenting complex business cases
- Assisting in supplier negotiations and scenario modeling
- Driving cost-savings initiatives and reporting
- Assisting business in de-risking supply chain options
- Inventory management
- Driving efficiencies throughout Apple Supply Chain
3. Accounting, forecasting, close and inventory management & along with maintaining highly productive cross functional partnerships with Global Business Services and Technical Accounting.
4. AMR SOX and Financial Business Controls - creating, maintaining, monitoring and ensuring they are relevant and effective
5. Bringing a systems mindset to assist in driving scale and automation.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years of progressive experience, including people management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
15 years experience in Finance or Operations with 5 years of people management in a fast-paced organization; MBA, CFA, preferred.
Outstanding communication skills & executive presence; verbal, written and presentation
Experience in leading, managing and building successful teams
Building and creating robust financial models & cases
Extensive experience in accounting, financial controls and SOX
Driving functional business change and execution
Ability to successfully drive scale and automation through systems
Outstanding problem solving skills
Proven track record of developing working relationships and collaborating with business partners and cross-functional teams
Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, GBI, Business Objects, Tableau
