Key Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year in the relevant sensing Industry with sensor/system integration focus
- Experience in working with non-imaging optics like proximity sensors, ambient light sensors, lasers
- Knowledge of EE fundamentals, and experience with light measurement (Photometry, Spectroradiometers) and thermal or electrical health sensing measurements
- Academic or Professional background in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Sciences, and expertise with sensors and transducers used in medical applications
- Familiarity with handheld / wearable products and understanding of the design tradeoffs needed to make such products successful
- Experience with validation & characterization techniques used for medical sensors
- Familiarity with programming in one or more of the following: C/C /Objective-C and scripting languages like Python/Lua
- Experience in one or more source control systems like Git/SVN
- Experience with processing data using tools like MATLAB, JMP or Python
- High volume consumer electronics calibration, testing and manufacturing experience preferred
- Past technical leadership experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, highly cross-functional and fast paced environment.
- Experience/curiosity about systems engineering in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
